Treating sadness better.
Sadly, sadness is very much underrated by the mankind. I do not like the biased opinions about euphoria while dysphoria is frowned upon. I feel they're no different. Excess of euphoria can cause as much harm as excess of dysphoria. It is perfectly normal to be sad, to be drowned in the ocean of melancholy. You don't need the rays of light all the time to survive. The dark nights and the stormy winds are equally nourishing. It is not a sin to refuse to be happy every single day. 'Not happy' is not the equivalent of 'not fine'. In fact, it is essential to be sad. For it is an emotion. Just like happiness. These emotions are testimonial to the fact that we're alive. All this is a part of the human experience. So drench into it. Let that sadness sweep you off your feet. Don't worry about getting back on your feet. You're sad now, so experience it to the fullest. You'll be alright.
